Research suggests that the structural model – the most dominant method in practice today - is insufficient for treating chronic pain. This CPD presents an innovative, evidence-based approach to treating chronic pain informed by neuroevolutionary research, nociception, and the predictive processing model for perception. Created and delivered by Josh Fein-Brown, M.Sc, M.Ost, ND: experienced osteopath and senior lecturer at The British College of Osteopathic Medicine.

  • Practical, hands-on clinical guidance for treating chronic pain informed by empirical evidence.

  • Lectures explaining key current theory and research in nociception, chronic pain, and the neurobiology of perception.

  • An experiential approach, immediately integrating the theory into experience with practical exercises and discussion

  • An interactive environment to learn and practice amongst peers.

  • Once complete, you will gain access to a burgeoning community with weekly meetings and movement classes
